We moesten de boot van 11.00 uur halen naar Robben Eiland. Mooi op tijd in Kaapstad aangekomen, bleef er nog genoeg tijd voor een stevig ontbijt. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Op de heenweg vlak bij de boot twee walvissen gespot. Robben eiland is nu een museum waar het verhaal van de politieke gevangenen van het apartheidsregime (waaronder Nelson Mandela) wordt verteld. Erg indrukwekkend. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Retour Kaapstad over een woelige zee, maar wel intussen in de zon. De rest van de middag doorgebracht aan de &#8216;Waterfront&#8217;\u009d. Tegen zonsondergang weer naar de camping over de kustweg, via Chapmans Peak. Prachtige vergezichten.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cocky.rikers.eu\/ZA2006\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/11\/uk.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-26\" title=\"uk.gif\" src=\"http:\/\/cocky.rikers.eu\/ZA2006\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/11\/uk.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"50\" height=\"25\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">After a good nights rest we left for Cape Town, to make the trip to Robben Island. On the boottrip to the island we saw two whales close to the boat. Robben Island is now a museum, where the story of the political prisoners of the apartheid regime is being told. Very impressive. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Back to the mainland we had a rough sea, but the sun had come out in the meantime. We spend the rest of the afternoon at the Waterfront. Just before sunset we headed towards the camping along the coastal road.
